About Jim Fraser Technical Services
Jim A. Fraser has more than two decades of intimate, hands-on experience in silicon wafer fab process engineering and engineering management at Nortel Networks and STMicroelectronics.
Jim’s training repertoire includes the courses "Silicon Wafer Fabrication" at Algonquin College and "Microelectronic Manufacturing Processes" at the University of Ottawa (both in Ottawa, Canada), as well as numerous silicon wafer fab process technology training courses on contract to the semiconductor industry.
More recently, at Chipworks (now TechInsights) Jim provided process analysis and documentation services pertaining to reverse-engineering of a range of state-of-the-art microprocessors and related microchips. He has also provided patent research support for Chipworks.
One of Jim's passions is travelling. In addition to Canada and the USA, Jim has enjoyed delivering training courses in a number of overseas countries, including England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Malaysia and Taiwan. He would welcome the opportunity to travel to your site!
